Here's hoping he gets 10 rebounds in the 2nd half to go for the trip-doub, because SOMEBODY needs to board the damn ball.
Then again, our two bigs have been glued to the bench with fouls. It's like we have no choice but to go small.

Timvp mentioned it in the pregame thread and I agreed. Rebounding wins games. Especially against the Mavs.

spurs have the momentum going into the 2nd half. need a good third quarter to finish the mavs off.
Basically like I said earlier in the thread after watching this game I would like to have a go at getting Haywood. We need another big. I would put anyone apart from the big 4 on the trade block.

I love the way he has played, but if he can't bring it against teams like Dallas he's going to have to go on the trade block.

Where did you get that stat? They are shooting 44%. The Spurs are the ones shooting 63%.

It's such a shame to see we're barely up with the games Duncan, Ginobli, Jefferson, and Parker are having.
The rebounding needs to pick up and stop with the fouls. Even if it is the refs the guys need to play through it. But I don't see the rebounding improving if Dyess and Blair are glued to the bench.
And Dirk hasn't even gotten started yet. It's the Mavs bench killing us.

LOL ElNono has been going on about our defense sucking all game and then pulls out the wrong stat to own himself.
ElNono - I do agree in part though. Our defense still needs to get better and lockdown on the Mavs by getting rebounds and protecting the ball.
Mavs are shooting 43.5% for the half.
The D on Dirk has been really good so far. Hopefully it continues in the 2nd.
@ finishing the Mavs off in the 3rd. Neither team has been able to get ANY separation, and Spurs are only up 3 going into halftime. Spurs'll prolly need more than a solid 3rd quarter to take care of this one.
I'll GLADLY eat my words if I'm wrong, but I doubt it.
It's difficult to rebound when you're playing small ball... especially when your PF is Richard, who is a notoriously poor rebounder...
If we had done a good job on the boards it'd be a 10pt game now
