Im so frustrated with having to look forward to big games only to see the Spurs get crapped on.
All our wins to -500 teams meaningless right now. Does anyone have an idea y we cant beat better teams in NBA? and can we truly beat the lakers at this point playing like this?

i dunno but those refs were atrociously biased against spurs in the first half. spurs clearly outplayed them and had nothing to show for it.
dallas did great in the 4th.
we were playing great basketball (- allowing second chance points) until their 42 point 4th quarter of impossibility. That was a fluke, no way that ever happens again
lol at this homer. Best to pray that the Spurs avoid the Mavs in the playoffs. Ya'll can't beat me...plain and simple

Its been a reality all season long. people don't want to admit it.
why did we ever let go Bowen. We need a defensive minded veteran. Raja bell please join us.
Since when did you start playing for the Mavs
Completely agree.
Give credit to Dallas, after we went on a 15 to 0 run they came back and won this game. We lost it period. Paker and manu no where to be found on the 4th courter and dirk killed us.
Who needs rings when you can have regular season wins...![]()
lol....I pray the Mavs play the Spurs in round 1. Mavs can coast and know for certain that they'll be in round 2. I bet Pop either tanks or goes balls out to win games at the end to avoid the Mavs at all cost.

I don't know about other games but the foul situation seemed to screw up the normal rotation. Top that off with the defensive strategy of switching on every Dirk pic'n'roll which ended up in a mismatch (and then a couple of threes) and we let them have a big lead late in the game. Why not let them play Dirk straight up? even Bogans had played him well one on one. Why the strategy change?
I'd also like to complain about the first 3 possesions (I think) of the 4th. correct me if I'm wrong but I could have sworn we made 3 trips down to the offensive end and barely grazed the rim with 3 jumpers. What happened to that offense we were running?
You? Lol you don't play for the Mavs. Your just the silly got with the pink elephant...
I guess the problem extends beyond Bonner and Finley huh. Everyone seems to think trading these two will solve all the problems.
TD is the only one playing good basketball against 500+ teams
All the other players and also the coaches needs to do a much better job
Exactly, Spurs Brazil.
Tim is surrounded by guys who look like they're just happy to be on a winning team. I dont see hunger in anybody except Tim, Manu, and Blair. None of the others look like they want a le.
Amarelooms has a point though, these guys (Mavs) turn World ing Class whenever they see a Spurs uniform. They are in the Spurs heads.
Looks can be deceiving. I'm sure everyone on the spurs wants a le. They just have to realize nobody is going to hand them one on a silver platter.
please keep in on present tense and the 2009 season. thanks
I doubt the Spurs are resting on their laurels like some of you in Spurs nation are...but if so, that's a problem
Amareloom stop being an idiot. I don't think it was a fluke 4th quarter, but the Spurs were definitely the better team for three quarters. You guys were fighting without Pop. Another great game against you guys. I hope you guys beat the Lakers because I think one big win for the Spurs will do wonders.
they arent 2nd in the western conference by only beating the Spurs
but yea the Mavs do own the Spurs recently
Who doesn't own the spurs?
true. thats why i dont believe in that save it for after the all-star break. The NBA isnt the same as before. Back then, the Spurs could lose a game but still stay the same seed. Now, a loss brings you one or two seeds down. And there is a lot more compe ion. Im not saying play 110% every game but at least show some passion. These guys are playing like they're waiting for the all-star break to show up.
That is what happens when you design a team(Mavs) to just beat another team(Spurs), and their fans will live with that fact, even if the Lakers won it last year. Mavs are still living back in the year 2007, and they were handed their asses by the Lakers and lost by 35 to them before they played the Spurs, which brings us back to 2010. Maybe in 3 more years when the Lakers are not relevant, Dallas will build a team to beat the Lakers. Makes me wonder if the Lakers are flying under the radar.![]()
