Terrible job on the boards, small ball almost the whole game = Loss

Yeah, not too surprising that the Spurs lose the battle of the boards and in turn lose the game. Rebounding against the Mavs is supremely important.

Small ball didn't work for many reasons. Lack of rebounding, lack of rim protection and lack of exploiting mismatches on the offensive end were three of the reasons.

When all is said and done, the Mavs are still a team the Spurs can hopefully avoid in the playoffs. The matchups are still horrible and the AT&T Center is the Mavericks second home. They honestly look more comfortable here than anywhere else they play in the country.

I agree with that. I don't like small ball but Dice and Blair were very bad tonight

I just don't agree with the ultra small ball in the 2nd quarter with Bogans, TP, Hill and Mason.
