I see how it could happen though. He isn't the most alert guy either. But it did stike me as odd how everyone slowed down so much and started walking as if it had gone in.
Airballs always f'up players. You see the ball bouncing off the ground with bigs around, offsensive rebounds, etc... It just creates unexpected situations since it's relatively rare. But JR was just going through the motions not paying attention as most the other players were on that play.
I've seen Odom inbound the ball without passing to anybody, but I have never seen this before.
The Nuggets players were just as dumb, they continued to walk to the other side as he was inbounding the ball.
Well, at least the Kings didn't score on the ensuing possession.
