Malta's are delicious! But it is definitely a cultural thing. Most people wont like it cause it doesn't say Coke, Big Red or Dr' Pepper on the label.

Sadly, it's difficult to find big bottles of Malta Goya in San Antonio. I find them sometimes at HEB -- but only certain ones and not all the time. As for the Havanna Alajores (or however you spell it), I haven't been able to find them anywhere for years. I have to smuggle them back in from Argentina.
I've never met anyone who liked either one. Everyone I've let sample thinks Malta Goya is disgusting. Yeah, it's basically malt beer that was murdered before the alcohol was produce but it is so damn good.
