I wish I could invest in youtube. The money DarrinS brings in would pay for my education and my children's.
God bless anyone who relies on the Google dropdown, but I was a little put off by the totally unearned bravura and vulgarity of the narrator.

Scorning Islam as a meek benefactor of Google, and explicitly excluding it as major world rreligion, was a gesture pungent with it's own disdain and surely off the mark IMHO.

The inconsistency in the dropdowns is weird. I guess I'd like to have a math-literate someone to explain how that's a plausible outcome. It's all supposed to be done algorithmically, right?
OTOH, it's not unthinkable that a global public interface like google might go out of its way not too piss off certain countries. And that certain searches activate "security" protocols, such as anything blatantly pornographic or otherwise damaging to major clients, leading to results that may not strictly reflect the search algorithms.
It sure looks like there is a double standard for the other two major Abrahamic religions. Piss on Christianity and Judaism all you want. But why does the OPoster content himself with his single, voice-shaking revelation about the dropdowns? he wasn't curious about Google beyond that?
The narrator shows no more than a few dropdown screens for a few, naked search terms, then pompously concludes that the influence of Islam is minor, requiring as it does the paternal solicitude of Google to make sure people do not find out what they probably knewalready about Islam, all the while soliciting the inference that Islam's influence on Google is malign and disproportionate.

The analysis here is so deep it's not even superficial. It unveils the evidence, then pompously regards its burden as already having been met, when in fact it has failed to unpack even a single major premise, but instead relies on the rhythm of cant, cliche and keening self-regard to propel us to our eventual, somewhat icky, destination.

Probably. An enterprise isn't that large in these United States, with an obvious plan to plant itself in as much of national life as possible, without playing ball with other powers-that-be.

All autocomplete results are all very benign.
Or, it's not hard to see Google giving a large source of traffic or ad revenue some special consideration.
