Mahinmi will definitely be playing tommorow.. I was more worried about the Thunder game than the Lakers anyway.

Bynum was a beast though, good game either way.

I wonder if we can put together 1 team from the Spurs and Lakers. That would be the most dominant team ever.

what i like about Timmy the most is his defense. holding bynum to 50% in that game was pretty freaking good. andrew has what, 12 years on him? and timmy can still put on those stops. blocks and contests without fouling, grabs down tough rebounds

hey pop, enough of this small ball crap that doesnt even work, PLAY MCDYESS AND RATLIFF!

good win tonight. GO SPURS GO!

Duncan's defense was pretty damn bad, with the exception of a few moments. His offense was simply fantastic though.
Yeah um, I think Duncan was fantastic on both ends in this game. Bynum touched the ball every time down the court. Bynum shot 11/23 which is not great when the furthest shot he took was from about 4 feet out. The Lakers scored only 85 points with Duncan being the only man defending the ring for about 25minutes of the game. Couple that with his defense that actually shows up on the stat sheet (4 blocks, 2 steals) and he was very solid tonight on both ends in my opinion. Fantastic game from Tim Duncan, again.

Should we be happy with this win? I can't tell.
I think we should just because of the energy and the cohesiveness the big 3 showed in this game. The turnovers of passes are very confusing considering the team should be more prepared and well aware of those, but nonetheless a lot of bright spots in the game even with Kobe and Pau out.

I think Kobe and Pau being out is being blown out of proportion a bit. Yeah, it played a lot that Kobe wasn't healthy for the entire game and Pau out. But, Bynum wouldn't have had those many touches had Kobe and Pau been healthy and playing. With the Lakers trio of Kobe,Pau and Bynum all healthy I certainly don't see the Spurs winning against the Lakers by 20, but I could definitely see an upset in a close game.

Other than that, we should all take the win and continue to improve our record against .500 above teams!

Sure. Alabama was happy with their fake win handed to them by injury fate. Spurs might as well be too.

It's hard to judge this game since Gasol was out and Kobe was in and out and injured. But he still managed to play 32 minutes.

But you have to be happy with a win. Lots of things need to improve but it would be more humilating if we had lost. The collapse in the 3rd was awful and reminded me of the Dallas game. But the Spurs managed to bounce back and get the win.

Why are they talking about Kobe not playing in the same breath as Pau? Kobe played 32 minutes. That is Tim's average for the year

Is it fool's gold? That team is totally different without/with Gasol. That being said, I am glad anytime the Spurs beat the Lakers.
