I gotta go with Eminem due to all his pain inside amplified by the fact that he can't get by with his 9 to 5 and can't provide the right type of life for his family.

I saw a movie with eminem, Funny people, he wasn't bad, he spoke with a normal voice and he has a funny scene, just something about when he raises his voice, he sounds horrible, whiney, nerdy, just the opposite of what a good rapper sounds like. I know I've said this before. Worst voice in the history of rap. Not to mention his 3 favorite subjects, Hailey, his mom and ex wife

One listen to any track off Midnight Marauders or Beats Rhymes and Life and you will know.

And as far as battling goes, Eminem is one of the best ever.
Let me put it like this: Eminem ghost wrote some of LL Cool J's lyrics when he was beefing with Canibus, and because of that LL Cool J killed Canibus. Any other scenario and Canibus would have wiped the floor with him.

Pretty much. I don't listen to much rap, least of all eminem, but nevertheless, he's the dude who wrote The Sauce. I don't care what else is said about the guy or how much the mookies want to pretend like he's never done anything of value, eminem's had some great battle tracks.
I don't necessarily disagree that his emo, 'pissed off at my mom, the world and prescription drugs' schtick is pretty lame, but there have been times when he's risen well above it.
Case in point for those who don't know:
I don't know whether a dude named Phife Dawg is doing or has done stuff that good, but I doubt it.
