Ugly game. But the good thing is: our free-throw-shooting is as sharp as ever.

Great play to end the half. Ugly half but that was to be suspected.

Nice to see the Spurs keeping up in a defensive scrum. Shouldn't have expected much less from coach Brown.

Spurs need to keep hammering and hope the rock cracks.

Woah! What was that between Manu and Hill? It almost looked like Manu tried to hit Hill!

It looked like that rest really helped Duncan, LOL...

You can't just run the guy out there and play him 40 minutes when he hasn't been playing big minutes.. I think the 30 mins last game was his high for the season, and he's on that pace, just about.

Yeah this is a game made for Bonner. He could've lived out at the three, the other team would've had to put a defender on him and most likely would've opened things up a tad more for RJ Manu Tony and GH3.

Tim looks like he's in his usual early mid season meh mood.

Blair won't be effective on Diaw...
Diaw is too tall and too good at passing, he is not enough selfish and never hesitate to pass instead of forcing, he would play with Blair!

Januaryitis? First time he's shown it this year.

Maybe the other night he got a taste for riding the pine.

There's more to a basketball game than just getting rebounds. He has to be able to defend, as well, and I don't think he would matchup very well on Diaw.

    Yeah its definately showing.

Not attempting to block a felton layup.

    Just being "there"

Its a hard thing to describe, its one of those you know it when you see it.

That being said Mohammed is a long guy and those always give Tim trouble, but when he had Diaw on him he should've made him his own personal blow up french maid.

That and Diaw played the last of that 2nd quarter as the center with guards surrounding him.

Doubtfull DeJuan would play well against Jackson or Flip Murray or guys of that ilk.

I'll give him a pass for that first half given how amazing he has been so far this year.

Time to play now though, Timmy.

This is going to be low scoring if Bogans keeps shooting the 3 and Nazr tries some 20-footers

To be fair to RJ, there was no foul there.

However, he should have sealed the baseline better.

Pop once again working a foolish rotation. 19 and 17 minutes for Duncan and Parker respectively, yet Jefferson, the guy who should be leading the team in minutes in games like this (mediocre team, 5 games in 6 1/2 days in 4 cities), he's playing less again. The Bobcats labor to score, the game was going fine, why rush to put Duncan and Parker back in so soon? Now, this is a tight game and let's say it stays that way throughout the second half, what will happen is Pop will likely play Duncan and Parker 19 and 18 minutes respectively and by night's end they'll be up to 38 and 36 minutes total, with a game against the Grizzlies tomorrow. There's no thinking. If he holds them both to 15-16 first half minutes, then he can play them 19 each in the 2nd half and still have held below 35 for the game.
