Oh, and I made the poll so you can vote for more than 1, since I'm trying to make this a legitimate thread, don't be a cuck and vote for all 7 teams.
There are 7 teams in the West with 17 or 18 losses (Portland, Phoenix, New Orleans, Houston, Memphis, Utah, Oklahoma City) competing for the 5-8 playoff spots. Which 4 will make the playoffs?

Voted for PHX, UTA, PORT, and HOU.
I agree with DoK on all teams except I have Phoenix making it over Memphis
Well see who wins today then brah. I know I'll get for not picking Phoenix, but they're 10-14 after a 14-3 start. IMO the 10-14 is a way better reflection of the team they are.
You may be right, my reasoning was that Memphis is still too young and needs another year together to gel as a unit and would fade down the stretch. I'm by no means a fortune teller though. Just don't sneak in as the 8th seed and add insult to injury during the inevitable Laker curbstomping![]()
I hope we dont make the playoffs, rather have a better pick.
OKC. all the rest will miss it. and there will only be a 5 team playoff in the west.
Utah, OKC, Houston, Phoenix, Portland. Spurs aren't making the playoffs.
Damn, I didn't even think about that.
I'd like to see Memphis and OKC in the playoffs because they're something new and they'll probably be beat the Spurs in a seven game series. That would be hilarious.
Phoenix Suns: 24-18
Started: 14-3
Since: 10-15
Memphis Grizzlies: 22-18
Started: 1-8
Since: 21-10
lol picking Phoenix over Memphis.
I'm gonna have to go with Utah instead of Phoenix now..
Not that I think Phoenix doesn't have the talent to make it, but with the current slump, I think they'll eventually trade Stoudemire at the deadline too, so I don't think they'll be really serious about winning this year..
I know I have Grizzlies and Thunder in there. I think I also had the Suns and Jazz.
Wrong, people overthink why Phoenix is struggling. It's pretty simple, their roster is composed mostly of one dimensional players and it's a roster with extremely limited talent. Effort and hustle can only get you so far on defense, the Suns lack the players it takes to play good defense.
I put memphis, portland, utah, and okc. Okc idk though, phoenix still could be in that last spot. DOK i was looking at suns stats and noticed how much channing frye shoots the 3 ball and i was. He's shooting it pretty well though, Im just am kind of shocked in a wtf way. He has the 4th most attempts and 2nd most makes. ha, never would've thought.
He sucked royally tonight. It was a pretty embarrassing moment for U of A, he pulled a Lamar Odom stepping over the out of bounds line when he was trying to inbound the ball after a made shot. He's about to lose a ton of minutes and his nice start will be an afterthought.
But yeah, I had no idea he'd play so well![]()
Utah has adelman. with carl landry at the 4, this will be one of the scrappiest teams since the 04 pistons
I love how Jerry Sloan finally lost his coaching gig.
did i say scrappy? thats not what i meant
you know what i meant. you just couldnt wait to jump at my mistake could you, you vulture.
