Hope so. The current bill is worthless without it.
My rose-colored contribution - Joe Lieberman is now irrelevant![]()

LOL. Get a clue. Who else wants to lose?
Senator Kirk said he's done and will help make the transition go as smoothly and quickly as possible.
I was trying to figure it out but couldn't. Anyone else hearing Brown's victory speech?
I think the message is pretty clear: The complete failure of this administration and Congress to deliver on their promises will not be tolerated. They had all the power and momentum after the presidential election to really legislate change, and instead they started doubting and delaying. Right now, Gitmo is still open, we're still fighting two wars, Healthcare is still status quo and unafforrdable, companies keep on handing out bonuses like they've never been bailed out. One year later this is still the same as dubya's policies.
I expect them to keep on losing ground as long as Pelosi and Co. keep on doubting and failing to deliver.
It sounded something like "pants on the ground"
It's a no-win situation. Continue to get mired in the current healthcare debate, you risk alienating independents. Fail to get healthcare through, and the base grows apathetic and doesn't turn out at midterms.
My feelings exactly.
Look, the Dems still have the largest majority in Congress since 1929....its time to force a filibuster by GOP senators on issues that matter to people like consumer predatory lending protections, real health-care reform, and ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan..
It's gonna be comedy gold.
First they were chanting "41", but I couldn't make out the rest of it. Almost sounded like "take them down", but I can't be certain.
Scott sure is having fun now - it's so great to see him and his family so happy.
I'd take one of the two daughters!!!
Ha Ha - he asked Obama if he wanted him to drive his truck to D.C. so Obama could see it.![]()
He's really ragging on Obama - he'd better watch out, the Chicago machine will be gunning for him. I bet Obama is really having a snit fit.
Healthcare is the only thing the Democrats have left. If they don't get something done, they will have absolutely nothing to run on in the midterms. Blaming Bush isn't going to get the job done.
He'll be taking his frustrations out on the croquet course on the White House lawn tomorrow. You can take that to the bank.
What's he saying? Obama should be having a fit. He and the Democratic party have done it to themselves.
next presidential candidate...
I'm not sure why you think Obama is to blame...this wasn't a referendum on Obama....it was a referendum on the Coakley campaign, the DNC and DLC leadership, and a candidate who ran on a populist campaign, when nothing could be further from the truth...
He's making fun of Obama making fun of his pick-up truck and he said the campaign ended with an emergency landing of Air Force One at Logan Airport. He also said he asked Obama if he wanted to play a game of basketball.
Obama is to blame because he's cheerleading for a piece of welfare to the insurance companies bill, which is the an hesis of the change he promised.
Whatever helps you get thru the night...
