I don't see anything far left in what Obama has done so far. The health care bill is corporatist. Obama's problem is that the right hates it, the left doesn't like it, and everyone else distrusts the government.

You haven't seen anything far left in what Obama has done so far because the neccessary congressional support for far left ideas just isn't there. All he's been able to do so far is maintain the Bush-era status quo of bank bailouts, political infighting, war and rampant deficit spending.
