Damn, I almost felt like I was watching it for the first time.

And I'm not sure if that made feel better or worse; I'm numb at this point..

That seems so long ago man! So short ago but so long ago! We swept them last year as well, welp for nothing! They sweep us this year 4-0!!!!!!!!!!! Carlos never was as good against us as he was this year, this year he just flat out killed us, period.

Bruce Bowen was the "Cahones" to those Spurs teams. He never took a night off. No fear and was clutch.

Richard Jefferson in no way could fill those shoes

Good interior D tends to do that.....

Fast forward to last night: Boozer was anally violating us all night long from 10 feet and in. Kirilenko looked like the second coming of Tom Chambers and had 2 wide open dunks late in the game as well.

Combine that with Timmys gradual falloff defensively and the fact that he has no one out there with him anymore, and you'll get this most nights unfortunately.

......RODEO ROAD TRIP 'round the corner
i'm nervous about this season as it is. i won't actually be worried until the rodeo trip is done and the spurs haven't improved or pulled together. i still see hope.

even though the spurs are a sickening 25-16, they are still 4th place in the west. atleast in they aren't the only mediocre team right now. they're surrounded by mediocrity. normally, spurs would be buried deep in the western conference. instead, luck has given them a huge break and if they can pull it together SOON, they'll be right where we want them to be

we built the team and spent over our tax so that we can butt heads with the rapers and thuggets..

but do you think the way we're playing as we approach feburary we're goin to be doing just that come playoff time? those teams seem to have it together.. yes they had a stronger start and they're losing more games now.. but i blame that on fatigue and injury..

spurs on the other hand.. i blame their slow start to lack of chemistry because of the new players.. what if just like everyone else.. injury and fatigue sets in? our record is already bad as it is.. we might just find ourselves facing a stronger team in the 1st round of the playoffs.. that we'd rather put off till later rounds..

it's just my frustration talking tho.. i also do hope that we turn things around.. altho it seems uncanny at this point..

we're just a victim of cir stance as duncan isn't going to get any more athletic or younger in years to come.. contracts are nearing expiring for players like manu and mason and eventually parker.. if we didn't put as high as expectation on ourselves this season then this wouldnt hurt as bad.. but with our situation.. our only choice was the one we took in souping up this team.. too bad pop's proven playing/coaching style takes more than 1 season to learn for the new guys..
