I said that for Paul it is all pick/screen and roll plays for him, and that that's the only way he is solid and dangerous. Then I said in that way TP is more independent because TP has more quality to create himself a way to the basket, TP is better in penetrating to the basket.
And then you will say; 'look at pauls stats!'. Well yeah, Paul puts up more numbers, because the whole team is envolving about and around him, he is the main thing for the team, everything goes thru and to the guy, everything is set up just for him. It doesnt mean Paul is better, it's just that he is the main focus on his team, that's why he is putting more numbers up than TP.
TP could also put up the same high numbers game after game, if he had the same role as paul in his team, but TP can't, because it doesnt fit in the spurs system. Its not all going thru TP. The spurs have other quality players, hornets do not really.
Then I said that if Paul would play at a team like the Spurs, it wouldnt be all involving around him. he wouldnt be the main focus of the team. His numbers would go down drastically and he would be very dissapointing.
So Paul is depending more on what others on his team create for him, everything goes to and thru him, he is depending more on the main role they give him. But when that's not the case anymore, Paul will be dissapointing and I think less better than TP.
Besides, I think Paul is just overrated.
