Yeah a lot of different to me, it tastes like a coke with more sugar.
I noticed they are selling throwback Mt. Dew also.
Limited time? I doubt it, unless it doesn't sell well.
now if only they'll sell some throwback Coke with real coke.
yeah, what's up with the hillbilly holding a jug of moonshine?

Damn, and I don't drink soda any more.
the difference
high fructose corn syrup vs. sugar
the sugar goes down smooth, the corn syrup tastes like you are drinking a melted gummi bear.
this.
Dublin Dr. Pepper FTW for the same reason.
I take it the high fructose syrup is cheaper than sugar?
WE HAVE A WINNER! lol
Actually I don't drink sodas either. But I bought one regular pepsi and one throwback and drank like a half of cup full to see if I could tell the difference. They both taste the same to me. But I am not a soda drinker so someone who drinks it regulary might notice a difference.
Yet? Damn. Different parts of the country must be rolling this out at different times of the year. I was drinking mine back in March/April/May. Haven't seen it since.

That's what the logo was back when I was a kid.
So people like the "throwback Pepsi" a lot, but eventually the corn syrup lobbyists will get their wish and it will disappear?
Look for Heritage Dr. Pepper. Exaclty like a Dublin Dr. Pepper. I got a case up here in WA state.
if it allows them to win market share from coke then they will probably stick to it.
anybody seen it here at local sa stores ?
This has been out for a while now, when I bought some the can did not look all gayly retro, it looked all fancy.
It is pretty damn good, way better than normal Pepsi.
I've seen it at Target and Walgreen's.
Yeah I looked for them at HEB and Walmart but didn't find them until I went to Target.
They had the Pepsi and the Mountain Dew. I just heard about them within the past week or so.
They both have the same number in nutrients and such, but I think soda made with real sugar cane sugar has a more citrus like taste.
