I would be pissed if I donated and ended up talking to Dharma instead of a better celebrity.
For a good cause and there have been some damn good performances. Dave Matthews and Neil Young are jammin' right now.Great cause indeed.

what channel?
my fave was Justin Timberlake.
My favorite part was that I missed it.![]()
all of them
I called in and offered to donate $4.99 per minute that Jennifer Aniston talked dirty to me. No dice. Clearly she does not care about Haiti.
I absolutely LOVED his performance. He and the Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, and Keith Urban collab were my favorite.
They needed to perform more upbeat songs.
Not to sound like a Pompous ass... but at least I donated to that 90999 number or whatever.
What happened in Haiti is ed up.
Probably the first time I have donated to something like this.
Was my first time donating to something other than the lotto.
I'm curious to hear how much was raised tonight.
Hallelujah is probably one of the best songs written. They were great. Jeff Buckley's version was better though.
Who is the guy with Timberlake? i dont pay attn to current music really, so i dont recognize his name.
I don't think it's fair to compare Jeff Buckley's cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah to Timberlake's. It was a solid cover for an admirable cause and I was impressed with his effort. The guitarist is singer-songwriter Matt Morris. Not all that well-known, he has written some of Timberlakes' songs and co-starred with the pop singer on the Mickey Mouse club in the early 90's.
I am in LOVE with Matt Morris. It broke my heart when I found out he was gay. He was like my first celebrity crush when I was a kid. Seriously one one of the only reasons I watched the Mickey Mouse Club. His first (big time) CD just came out a few weeks ago, When Everything Breaks). It's so-so, but if you're a fan of his it's worth the buy.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to check his work out![]()
Absolutely. It goes for everyone too. Not just people that have heard of him. He's amazing, as are most people who came out of the Mickey Mouse Club.
That was Alicia Keys worst performance ive heard.
I'm not a huge fan of Timberlake's music, and love Cohen's original version of the song so much that most covers make me cringe, but I actually think that was my favorite performance of the night. I liked the "Lean on Me" cover and the Matthews/Young duet, as well.
Not mentioned yet in this thread, though, is Jennifer Hudson's cover of "Let it Be," which I thought was beautiful. I don't typically care for her music, but she's definitely got a voice.
I agree that Alicia Keys sounded awful.
