Look the Vikings mistakes were fumbles. They controlled that. They screwed up and its their fualt.

But guess what? They fought back despite all of that, but they couldn't overcome the mistakes they couldn't control, the refs calls.

BS. Complete BS. First a phantom interference call, then a clear use of the ground on a catch.

This Superbowl is going to suck.

Sorry for all the cussing. I almost never cuss. Just really frustrating ending. I hate how a great football game ended like that. NFL OT's suck.
cry baby. At least take it like a man. Those were good calls.

Bad calls on both ends. That roughing the passer call was bull early on in the game.
Yeah it was, but it wasn't as crucial. That didn't win the Vikings the game.

    Somewhere, Jim Finks is smiling.

You don't who that is (without Wikipedia), you're not a true Saints fan.

I didn't have a favorite in this one-I wanted a good game and we got one.

Congrats to the WHO DAT NATION!

This should be a great SB...I'm so glad the Colts won!

I like how you randomly come in here and start talking. Now I understand why all the posters in the NFL threads freak out when people start jumping on certain teams.

Now I am going to get the response "I was a Saints fan all along. I love the Saints."

    Shut up.

Eric B is a that way. He's a fan of lots of teams

Well, the last possession the Vikes had on offense should've been the final play of the game. Favre scrambles 5 yards, and they try a 48ish yard FG for the NFC championship. So I'd disagree that they fought back.

The Vikes had some questionable calls earlier in the game as well. I didn't like the reffing the entire game, and obviously in the OT period. But to say the refs handed the Saints the game when Favre threw a pick in FIELD GOAL RANGE in the last minute?? I know it hurts but mistakes like that are unforgivable.

GOOD Calls? Are you kidding me? Don't act like you never complain. I swear I can find a post of you complaining about Kobe in a Spurs playoff game if I looked.

    Nope Houston Texans fan.

Not jumping on anyteam, just stating a fact.

Vikings stiffed in the 4th and in OT on D period.

    Play better.

    Agreed.

I can appreciate Viking fans being upset about the interference call towards the end as it was pretty generous on the Saints behalf. But I accept no argument whether or not there was a reception in that drive. That was definitely a catch, likewise the first down jumping over the pile was also legit. I was getting pissed earlier in the game with all the calls they were giving Favre, so I guess it all equaled out at the end.

Now I'm ready to see Peyton win in Miami!

I hate that argument that does not justify the refs bad calls late in the game. That 15 yard penalty on Leber shouldn't have been called. It should have been 2nd and 10 and if the Saints converted that, props to them.
That interference on Lieber was a load more obvious than the one in the end zone on the saints DB. You'd a sore loser my friend.

Guess you are right, but I honestly think the Favre pick wasn't as crucial as the soft playcalling late. A 50 yard field goal isn't automatic.

Sorry. I am cooled down a bit now.

Go Colts. Please don't let these guys win.

I thought you were a Rams fan?

Slightly. It was more I didn't really have an strong affiliation with any team, but when the Texans came into existence they became from day 1 my favorite.

Having no team in SA makes it tough to have a favorite per se.

The Saints CB didn't turn to look at the ball. He just hit the reciever. Lieber did the same thing. That is true, but the ball was way overthrown and un catchable.

And I like how you randomly walk in here at the end too. Where have you been all along. I may be a sore loser right now, but at least I hung with the team I was rooting for instead of jumping on the winner's back.

    Pimp the Rams?

eh, but again, growing up in SA, had no one to go for and my family is from STL, so when they moved there I followed them and rooted for them but the Oilers were my favorite ( I still have my Oilers Jack Pardee autographed hat) when they moved I rooted for the Rams just because thats who the family watched. Again, when the texans came into existence they became my favorite team due to proximity to SA and I have friends that were involved in the team when they started.

I was here at the biginning of the thread and a bit through the 1st quarter. Then I went with my girl and buddies to the black Finn to watch the rest and now I'm back again. Was a bit busy.

I hung with my team until the end, just unfortunately that was last week, and I hate favre and that fake okie Peterson so I had to see them go down. And it was beautiful.
