This really sucks. I hope Brett comes back because Tarvaris blows.

The future of the Vikings is iffy. They were built for a Superbowl run this year.

I am a huge AP fan but the guy fumbles so much...I love how he runs hard after contact. I don't mind when he fumbles after trying to break 3 tackles because for every fumble there was 2 spectacular runs. The fumbles he had today were just dumb though. He never had one knocked out.

Dammit. One thing thats great about the NBA is that its a series so if your team is about to lose at least it soaks in after each loss. The NFL is just a game then you are done, especially with OT.

Question: Do you think the NFL will ever change their OT rules? It has always bothered me that a team can win because of a coin flip. I think the NFL would benefit greatly from that change. Then coaches would actually stay aggressive in OT and try to score touchdowns rather than settling for 30 yard game winning field goals.

The NFL will change the rules NOW, because Favre was on the losing team..I'm seriously not joking..there has always been controversy with the OT rules, but I think a team led by Favre losing in such a big game in OT will push them to change the rules IMO..

If they didn't change it after the Colts defense got super jewed by the refs in San Diego last year, they won't change it because of Brett.

    You think so?

I don't know why they do it in the first place. I think the NFL would get a lot more viewers if they had their OT set up like the NCAA does.

It doesn't seem wrong for the game only, but for profit too.

I am the only one hating.

I am freaking pissed right now.
I completely agree with you! I am so mad! The game was going good. OT and I so wanted the game to be decided by the players but like always, the ing refs have to decide the game in favor of the Saints! I am so sick to my stomach! I hope the Colts beat the crap out of them!

I hope next year they do change the OT rules! I think both teams should have the shot of winning the game! On NFL Network, they are discussing the pass interference call that was a game changer and said it shouldn't have been called as it was not pass interference! The refs shouldn't have made that call especially unless there is drag down contact especially in OT that could decide the game!

I might cheer for the Colts just cause Pierre Garcon is such a baller.

I know I'll get for this but if Indy wins it all Peyton has established himself as better than Brady.

In all seriousness, I am pulling for the Colts. I LOVE Peyton Manning. I like that entire team (of course I hate them when they are playing the Patriots). They have a bunch of good guys. I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton get another superbowl.

I'd be happy with both teams. It'd be great for the city of Nawlins to get a championship and the Colts deserve it plenty. Upsets are always talked about but IMO it's good to see the two 1 seeds take advantage of their bye week and make it so the regular season actually meant something.

  15. #65
I'd be really surprised if the Colts don't win. They all reacted to the game with a, "Nice win, business as usual, back to work next week," while Nawlins acted like they just won the most historic superbowl in NFL history.

I don't think we will be able to tell until the end of both of their careers. Both of them are incredible though.

Well got the matchup I wanted and thought would happen. Like I said earlier the team ill be rooting for is the saints just for the fact I've always liked brees and would like to see the team win its first bowl...like the city a lot too, tight place. Also, they will be underdogs so go Saints. But I don't mind the colts so either way I won't be overly excited or depressed. It's whatever, another excuse to booze.

This is one Super Bowl I'm not sure whom to root for...

I like Peyton Manning and have a newfound respect for Garcon, but the girlfriend is from N.O. and is a diehard Saints fan. Either way, I don't really have a horse in the race. I think the Colts win it because Manning is more calculating than Favre is and so you won't get any across the body throws from Peyton. Both defenses are capable of playing great and are capable of being unable to stop anyone. I don't know, but here's to some kind of wonderful game.

You can blame the ty Cowboy fans for this. Note I'm not calling all Cowboy fans here ty. There are some good ones who don't act like ass clowns. But for every one good Cowboy fan, you get 10 bad ones like that dumb SpermonyourFace, badfish22, kamikaze_player, etc. They are the ones who perpetrate this bandwagon nonsense, since the only smack they can lay on people is to accuse them of bandwagoning.

I will continue to bash the out of anyone who decides that it's cool to not be a fan until their team is winning or clinched a playoff spot though.

First off holcs, if you are expecting fully objective debate....not happening here or any message board. J.T....yes and no. Its not just the ty Cowboys fans. You have douchnozzles from all the fanbases represented here who act like that. However, being one of the most represented fanbases on ST, the -tastic Cowboys fans draw more attention to themselves. I don't disagree, however J.T., with your assesment. Also, I wholeheartedly support the bashing of any fairweather fan or bandwagoner. If you have no problem shouting from the rooftops when your team is doing well, then have the balls to be counted when they are not. It's easy to be fan of a winner, its tougher when your team is sucking hind on a regular basis. I believe the deepest circle of is reserved for fairweather and bandwagon fans as well as those who pull the "well, I don't really have a team but I hate ______" Grow a pair, get a team or shut your ing mouth.

    Here endeth the lesson.

This is going to be a mismatch. That Colt offense is a well oiled machine. I bet they punt...maybe once in this game.

Dallas showed that if you can get pressure on Brees and play with a lead to negate their running game, the Saints will stall. And with Freeney and Mathis applying the pressure, and Peyton putting points on the board, the Colts D will stall Brees plenty

    Colts by double digits
