Countdown to BrHornets "the refs got the Colts the win thread"...I mean Superbown XLIV thread...
13 days: 17 hours: 22 Minutes: 10 Seconds
Colts and Saints are my 2 favorite teams. I have 3 jerseys from each team(Vilma, Brees, Hebert, yea bobby hebert and its not a throwback, I got it 15 years ago)(Manning, E. James, Freeney).
I'm pulling for the Saints, b/c nola needs it more and the colts won it a couple years ago.
BTW, I don't give a damn about what any of you think a "true fan" is or any of that bull . I just don't care.
Either way, I'm ing stoked about this!
Agreed!![]()
I like how BR told us he was gonna celebrate on Bourbon Street then proceeded to respond to posts for an hour.
That aside, congratz to the Saints because it was a fun game to watch. We were this " " close to a "lol ain'ts" thread about how the Saints couldn't beat a crippled old QB after his mistakes practically gave them the game. But justice prevails, and Bret Fart hobbles back home with nothing.
I'm sure BR will blame the refs if the Saints don't win two weeks from now. I don't think I've ever heard anyone cry as much as him.
this is just the beginning BR...just the beginning.
Try not to commit to many crimes tonight.
Go Saints son, God bless
Congrats to the Saints also. It's well deserved and fair for both of the teams. Should be interesting.
This is just to say congrats to News Orleans and the Saints.
I generally don't follow football too much, but I was in N.O. twice this fall, once the night of the LSU/Auburn game, and again on the night of the Saints/Patriots game. (I wasn't there for either game...they were just going on at the same time I was there). The exciterment in the F.Q. for the pro game was every bit the same as the college game, except even more so. It reminded me of the first year that the Spurs made it all the way, and it made me smile to see it.
So I'm just saying good luck to you all.
I don't ever post here ( had to look up to see if there was even a place to say congrats), and I'm not on anyone's bandwagon...I just think it is nice to see something good happen to a city that has had a tough time for the last few years.
I bet Favre wishes he could have back that extra TD against the Cowboys. Karma's a bi@tch
Congrats to the Saints, I will be rooting for them against the Colts...city deserves something good to happen to them.
That's a crock of . If the Saints deserve it, they'll score more points than the Colts. A city doesn't deserve a sports le because their team has blown balls forever.
still bitter over the Katrina folks we sent your way? ... thanks again by the way
oh so the Saints deserve it because of Katrina. I'm guessing the Giants deserved their superbowl a few years ago only because of 9/11. Well deserved, New York!
It'll be awesome when Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne, two of New Orleans' favorite sons, end the Saints season.
Son as much as I believe the two calls in overtime were bull , I agree with you. Peterson's fumble late in the 2nd and Favre's pick late in the 4th are what led to overtime. The Vikings should have had a 14 point lead late in the game, negating the need for overtime. If not for those two very costly mistakes, the Vikings would have had a lead late in the 4th and probably the win.
Vikings just couldn't take care of the ball when it really mattered, and it cost them the Super Bowl.
son I don't ever recall him saying that the city deserves a championship. he didn't say that. he said the city deserves something good to happen. butthurt a bit?
true. you could also look at the bull late call in the 2nd quarter that handed the Vikings a touchdown as well. no game will be perfect, but you can't turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win.
No, whitey. god bless.
