This sounds more and more stupid.
Board cap, contract and trade know it alls:
Could Pop be included in a trade?
Aaron McKie is Not the Only NBA Coach Who Could Get Traded
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/pos...uld-get-traded
Since PopApologists value him as either the best or 2nd best coach in the NBA, surely (by their way of thinking) Toronto would be getting a steal in a Pop for Bosh deal.
This sounds more and more stupid.
If you trade Pop so pack him with Duncan and rebuild!
Perhaps trading idiots bandwagoners like Fabbs for draft picks sounds more reasonable....
Fabbs calling us morons when these are players who are veterans and provide veteran presences, thus "coaches".
And this is just the starting paragraph. This time last week, Aaron McKie was an unpaid assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers (although he is still making money from his last contract as a player). Then McKie was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Memphis Grizzlies.
No we don't send our best player with Pop.
Finley and others.
You silly punk.![]()
God damn these threads are getting worse and worse. We get it...they suck right now. You "fans" have been spoiled too long. They say you can tell who the true fans are during times of adversary. Next time you "fans" think about starting another trade him, we won't make the playoffs, tired bull thread...DON'T. We have all heard all this negative garbage before. Go away.
229 posts and he already sounds twice as smart as you vets.Way to go, bro!

The thread is for people who know how the NBA system does/doesn't work.
You Mavs and PopApologists who feel the need to see your name are the ones who need to "go away".
I think he's telling you that Tim isn't going to play for anyone but Pop, you silly punk. Realize.
Yah, Fabbs. Check yoself befo you wreck yoself!

So Fabbs when did you become a Spurs fan? Be honest...
I seriously believe Fabbs should click on his own link to read the old article again to understand it better.
pop gone = immediate team implosion
I don't believe a word of that.
Bosh gets on the team tommorow and Poop is gone, Timmy is stoked.
Sad that Pop is gone, yes. Stoked for another le run? Absolutely.
Timmy Dunks era, but not at the start when Coatails Pop got on board. Specifically during the summer of 2002 after the Kings won the le (but the Lakers were scammed it). I do not blame Pop for the playoff failure when DA got cheapshotted down.
I was onboard pre 2002-3 season when all the Laker Asses were at their peak of Laker Worship.
I clearly state in the OP i do not know all the facts surrounding coaches being traded, thus i asked for a sincere knowlegeable poster to inform. Which I'm sure one will in the midst of you trolls.
So a core that has won 3 les together, suddenly the coach who led them is gone and they to win another? What kind of logic is that? Still haven't answered my question cause I'm sure you haven't been watch basketball very long.
The contracts traded are player contracts. Those players "retired" before their contract is up. That makes them tradable. Recent example: Matt Harpring
Nicely done, calling us trolls when the real troll is you.

I think Timmy would would be publicly sad for a few days if Pop got traded, but underneath he wouldn't be that broken up.
To say he would quit playing if Pop was gone is absolutely hilarious. Gotta love the POop homers around here...
You (and most people who bash Pop and want him fired) don't understand a damn thing. You think of them as coach and player. That's not it. They're basically best friends, and Pop is the only father that Tim has now.
I'm telling YOU that Tim might finish the season for his teammates, but would retire this summer.
