^That's real good.
I paint landscapes using oil colors and have done several pen and pencil surrealist drawings. Unfortunately, I haven't taken any pictures of them.
The Club has a very large group of talented people, but they don't want to feel as though they are bragging. But I know 2Blonde, and Kori are real artists I hope they post some 0f their work.
This one is an original piece by me en led "Liquid Paper"

that painting led "bombardment" is badass.
I have the 2 above it. "Orange Pole & Blue Pole" Then, I have another that's not on his site. If you check out his myspace page, he has more. And if you if you are in the Austin area, your kids could have him as an art teacher.
He does shows in galleries & his stuff is for sale.
how much did you pay for "orange pole and blue pole", if you don't mind my asking?
just trying to get an idea of cost. ballpark figure would be fine.
Can someone post the art in this topic I can't see the links here at work.![]()

Click on the pictures. IT has a lot of paintings that I made in college.
I would like your honest opinion. There is an artist he's at least 80 something years old but he does many computer/photo shop generated type art images.
He entered this contest and I thought for sure if he didn't win he would come in second or third. but get this, not only did he not come in the top three, he didn't even get honorable mentions.
Normaly I really don't care about how art is judged but in this case I think you might see my point as I will post the winners.
Here is the mans artwork.
Ernst Brunzlik
Watertap Conference
here is some of his other work.

he cleverly used plumbing parts to make his image and I loved the creativity and the colors,
Here are the winners.

feel free to lave your opinions als,
thank you.
The ones that won were pretty good. Your friend's are a bit odd, and don't look as polished as the winning entries.
Those're all yours, Dex?
oh wow. you did a self portrait..............of david bowie?
good stuff, guys.
Those're really cool, too, DB. Wow.
Depends on the size of the painting. The Orange / Blue Pole ones that I have are fairly big. THey were done on tall cabinet doors. The 3rd one I have was done on glass & framed. I paid about $300 for the 2 & he gave me the 3rd.
Are you saying that this image that came in second place is better than the faucet heads?

Yep. I studied Print Graphics and Graphic Design back when I was in school. Just a dabbler now.
A few personal favorites of mine:

How about this Art ?
To me, it looks more complex, regardless of how little sense either of them make.
Of course, I have no idea what makes art "art". I'm simply giving my very humble, uneducated opinion.
art is subjective but i'd say most definitely that piece is way better than that faucet piece. composition and all!
. I based it on myself
I did do a painting based on Bowie but it's not on the site.
