Didn't the Spurs play small ball at the end of the first half with RJ at PF? Coulda sworn . . .
While I agree this thread probably wasn't thread-worthy, I don't really get your point. At one point the Hawks had Josh Smith at center and Marvin Williams at PF. That's hardly bigs the Spurs can matchup with. Typically, that sort of alignment results in Pop playing small ball.
Even though a lot of Spurs fans don't like him, Bonner is the key to avoiding small ball. Earlier in the season, Pop avoided small ball by using Bonner at PF -- since Bonner is deceptively quick and can stay in front of a lot of small forward. If Bonner can start playing better again, the Spurs would play less and less small ball.

ing awesome pop, finally
dont care if you have to play bonner, just dont play small EVER again
I saw it, too, but Pop adjusted appropriately this time, so it's hard to complain.
the last time someone had 1 good game Pop benched him...... So dice might be punished for tearing it up... Watch out
Stop watching games, please.
Yes they did and the Hawks scored on all their 4 possessions
