Maybe if Paul could have continued the success instead of turning into a playoff joke, people would give him more votes.

It's a popularity contest about who the fans want to see. Iverson is starting for the East.

Pretty much it. The fans own the NBA/ pay for it so give them what they want. Also a good chance to see great players stuck on crappy teams that don't get much television coverage.

The NBA starting lineup for the AllStar game is usually a joke because of the fans. Kobe, Iverson, Nash, etc have NO BUSINESS being in the starting lineup.

Why does this matter so much to Hornets fans? Chris Paul is going to have plenty of opportunities to start in the allstar game. Please don't be lumping Kobe and Nash in the same category as Iverson. They have the numbers to be allstar starters while Iverson does not.

Kobe is MAYBE an allstar reserve and that's about it. Anyone can put up his numbers when given the green light. Nash is simply in the game just to appease the white fans of the NBA.

Appease the white fans? If that's the case, then why wasn't Nash on the allstar team in Phoenix last year? Why can't you admit that he deserves to be an allstar? You can argue whether Nash or Paul deserved the start but you can't say Nash shouldn't have made the team.

Well, you don't have to like Dirk, but the stats show a different story.

FTA per game during the career:

    Kobe: 7.7 (7.5 per 36 minutes)
    Dirk: 6.5 (6.4 per 36 minutes)

121-63Hornet is en led to his own set of opinions, but not his own set of facts.

Hornets fans were so y a few years ago and now they just get off on the fact that CP3 puts up nice REGULAR season stats.

Where the has CP3 been in the postseason ever since the Dallas series? Hasn't done jack . Blew 2-0 lead v SPurs, let Jannero ing Pargo shoot the Hornets out of Game 7... got bukkake'd all up in the grill by Billups and QUIT on his home court in a 60 point loss. CP3 is not a winner.

Thank God Utah drafted Derron Williams.
I couldn't agree more. Thank God we're not stuck with that overhyped, no offense running, street baller of a point guard. We'd be one of the worst teams in the league with that other PG.

Crap3 wouldn't make it through one season in our offense. I'd love to see him try and set down screens on other teams bigs for 30 minutes a night. Ain't happening.

Son who gives a about winning when we can all witness CP3 in his flopping glory. in mouse in the house! Cp3 sets screens every game son.. he even squirrel taps opposing bigs balls while settin them screens! Cp3 along with us cajun coons have what ye call lil man syndrome!!

Where is the all-white line-up then?

I think it's hilarious on how Duncan is starting over Dirk in Dirk's city

If Utah drafted CP3, they would be in the WCF every season. If the Hornets were stuck with Williams, they would never be in the playoffs.

CP3 has a better FG%, 3-point FG%, and a better FT shooter despite having limited options around him. He's always been a better FG% guy since he scores better in the lane. I don't think Williams could score effectively as CP3.
