    Still, more than anything it shows to me that the talent pool is much weaker in the East than the West. Horford wouldn't even be mentioned in the West for the All-Star team, and neither would the other guys.

    Zach Randolph is an all-star without question...only two that are playing better than him in the West are Duncan and Dirk...anyone who disagrees with that and saying anyone else should be in over him is grasping at straws...

    David Lee should be in over Al Horford IMO, the guy is putting up ridiculous numbers this year at a good field goal percentage, and I personally think they don't get him the ball enough in NY...

    no on all of those. Memphis are in the playoff picture mainly because of ZBO. Its ZBO's year and he deserves this recognition.

    Demar Derozan better be in. I dont care how they do it (since Rose is a soph) but Demar needs to get in for entertainment purposes.

    Horford is having a very good year, so I don't mind the actual selection of him, but I don't think he should be ahead of Josh Smith..

    Bynum cant even get minutes when it's crunch time for the Lakers no matter how he's playing, it would of been crazy to see him make the all star game. He would of if the Lakers would give him touches all the time, not just when Gasol is out with an injury when they're left with no other alternative. Thats cool though, it'll make the kid even hungrier and work harder. He'll make it there one day.

    Why because Horford got in and Smith didn't? Horford got in because he was one of the better remaining centers although I think David Lee deserved it. You can't say the same for Smith because there alot of forwards with averages better than 15.1 ppg 8.5rpg

    yeah but none of those forwards do what josh smith does for his team. Those stats dont tell it all and you know it. The hawks are playing so well because of the way he's played this year.
