Its funny how some conservatives like to say he is a one term POTUS given he is barely one year in on the job. Clinton's #'s were in the 40% range if I'm not mistaken and he cruised to re-election. And on top of that with these misfits the Republicans have who may possibly run in 12, aside from Obama waging war against North Korea, or God forbid another terror attack happens on US soil, I can't see him losing a re-election bid. But hey, whatever helps you guys sleep at night is what I always say.... lol
I'm not ready to call Obama a 1 termer either, so I agree with you. But there are some things you need to add to your list of potential landmines for Obama. Inflation could hurt him. Having to raise taxes could hurt him. And if that unemployment rate takes it's time in coming down that could also hurt him. Also need to keep in mind that congressional reapportionment is going to be shifting some electoral votes from blue states to red states.

All that being said, we're eventually going to get out of this economic mess and if that happens by 2012 then Obama is going to be in very good shape.

The mere fact that we have a President who is concerned about the economy is an improvement over George W & Cheney…Ross Perot & Ron Paul were called alarmist & mentally unstable for predicting the economic downturn…It sounds like none of you Obama bashers watched the republican presidential debates…Ron Paul was heckled by his fellow Republicans for talking about the housing market & stock market decline…Every Republican Presidential candidate “except Ron Paul” was clueless about the coming economic downturn…

Now that we have a President who is working on the problem Republicans are complaining… I don’t get it…

There were plenty of democrats out there who didn't want to hear about the housing bubble or the stock market either. democrats = republicans.

Props to Obama for being a good dad and husband.
    That's about it.

He seems to be an extreme idealogue. He is a bleeding liberal, espousing big government and wealth redistribuiton, out of control spending and high taxes. Nothing new, just surprised that he is actually a radical bleeding lib and not a central moderate at all like he seemed to be when he ran for office.

But he's fantastic for those who believe in big government, the redistribution of wealth and en lements. Good luck enjoying Obama's repeated empty promises over and over again while our country's debt continues to sky rocket.

This is exactly what I'm talking about right here... That's what Obama and his rhetoric wants you to believe, but his actions are absolutely none of that. He is actually a bleeding pro-corporation, pro-authoritarian, pro-war, big-spending president, EXACTLY like the one before him, that used to wave a different flag.
