Kay Bailey Hutchinson's campaign has made no impression on me so far, and the primaries are coming up.
A vote for Rick Perry is a vote for the man, Debra Medina is the ostensible conservative (and therefore a vote for chaos), and Kay Barely Cares barely seems to care about being governor of Texas. Maybe other things are more important to her now, who knows?

Having said that they all suck...and they all DO suck, they all want power over your life...err..

Having said that...We've done better than any other state in the country under Perry. About as good as you can hope for I guess. He's gotta stop with the toll road stuff, but other than that...well, Texas has been doing pretty good under Perry.
Probably vote for him barring he doesn't do something totally stupid before the election.
All these politicians are strung tight, all of 'em are ticking bombs and capable of unheard heights of stupidity.
I guess you have to leave out education and the unisnured problem.. oh don't forget making people wait for months when they qualify for food stamps..

Rick Perry is as crooked and corrupt as they come. (And I am bascially a conservative).
He is tied in with all the toll road money interests and his dream of the Trans Texas Corridor. I won't go into specifics, but some business clients of mine had a program they were trying to get off the ground and it needed the governor's blessing. All they had to do was pay a lobbyist several thousands of dollars ( and I do mean several) to get an appontment with Perry. Now how much of that money do you thihk made it back to Perry's way? Next, go check out how much money was "donated" by men that Perry appointed as regents to the State colleges and universities.
I will vote for Kay Bailey before Prick Perry in the primary. Bill White is also highly regagrded as a Democrat. If it comes down to Kay Bailey vs. Bill White, I might go Bill White.

It is amusing that Perry and Hutchinson are attempting to portray themselves as something other than members of the Austin or DC establishment. The emergence of Goodhair the Secessionist makes for cheap political theater.
why are perry and hutch running against each other anyway......something about this seems fishy?

Making a law that all girls have to take a vaccine owned by one co. and the trans corridor. Plus he has had enough time as govenor. We don't need a career govenor. However I don't like Hutchinson.
