It's not a Celtics quote if it wasn't said by one of the Celtics is it?

As one NBA coach privately says, “They’re just not as nasty as they were” when they won the le. “And they don’t rebound.”
I think this was Jerry Sloan. It is like him to request to speak anonymously. And he talks like that, talking of getting "nasty" the way Stockton/Malone did. He said that in their press conference last year after the Lakers knocked them out of the playoffs. And it is like him to speak of rebounds.
What do you think?
It's not a Celtics quote if it wasn't said by one of the Celtics is it?
That totally sounds like Eric Spoelstra
Phil? I can't imagine him saying it like that.
Popovich
Something Mike Brown would say with a smug look on his face.
That's totally something Van Gundy would say. But since he's not a current coach it's probably not him.
If it was Mike Brown he'd say the Celtics don't "get after people," "get stops," "put on their hard hats," "make teams feel them" or "hang their hats on defense."

it is if it's a quote about the celtics you master of the english language
no, popovich would complain that brian scalabrine isn't receiving enough playing time
that quote was too tacky for phil to say. he'd probably say something about KG coming around eventually, and he wouldn't care about it being anonymous. he has said plenty of candid things on the record
