I stayed up to watch Memphis win.
I stayed up to watch Memphis win.
Meaningless game in February... just cut him some slack... plus Fisher was taking the shots at the end...
I didn't have to stay up at all to watch a young team win.![]()
Makes you wonder if Marc Gasol is already better than Pau Gasol
If he isn't yet, it's pretty damn close.
Pau Gasol has the worlds biggest vagina. Not necessarily what lead to the loss, but it needed to be said.
"kobe doesnt trust his teammates". well there ya go
Do you think Marc will forgive ZBo for what he did? Blood is thicker than water.
Got to build up their confidence. You can't ignore them the other 99 times and then give it to them once and expect them to make it
Bynum with 2 and 4 tonight but give Pau the blame.
Loss is squarely on Phil. Lakers went away from Kobe 5 straight possessions and he doesn't call a time out to set up the last shot.
did u even watch the game. kobe kept them alive. 45 pts 58% shooting. and he gave ron artest a great look
Bynum gets it too tonight, pretty much non-existent.
But Pau's #2 on the team, he gets blamed first, since Kobe did his job.
Grizzlies DO have the length and size to combat the Bynum/Lakers.
Because Artest can't hit a wide open shot? Yeah that makes sense.
Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph > Pau Gasol
That's what the deal ended up being.
Where are Steve Kerr and John Paxson when you need them? Guarantee they make that wide open three.
Exciting game but damn, I'm so mad at Fisher right now. Down 2 under a minute with time left on the shot clock and he forces a terrible shot. I mean wth! Lakers still had a chance to win if they had gone earlier at the end. If you're down you should go early and if you don't score at least you still have time. Don't know why they just wanted to get the last shot. I'm sure they would win if they go into OT.
Btw, that was a good play by Kobe at the end. Rather than force up a 3, he gave it up to an open shooter. Too bad Ron didn't make it.
The Grizz are good. There's no shame in losing at Memphis this year.
Honest question: When Pau and Bynum face a good front line, is this what you can expect?
At the end of an 8 game 13 day road trip, back to back on the road after playing a tough game in Boston, yes, maybe so.
The Lakers got out of there without Bynum injured. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Never thought I'd agree with that statement
