Marc's sister.
Son, this is the bobcats we're talking about..They own the Lakers. Thats why even a 1pt win vs them would be considered a damn good win. That & the fact nobody gives a to box out for some reason.
Marc's sister.
WTF!! He still played almost 37 minutes, the most by any Laker tonight!
Can't entirely blame it on our bigs though. The guards were allowing penetration and a couple of times when the bigs rotate to cover, no one would cover them.
But Pau's been playing poorly lately. Don't know what's up with him.
You must not know Kobe then. If he's even able to play at all, he'll be out there regardless, even though he's injured all over right now. The All-Star break will give him some needed rest.
I've been with Lakerfan on this from the beginning but I think you've proven your point about the Gasol trade.
Yeah Tim Duncan/Manu/Parker would have sat out the rest of the game if it was them.
Pau did play like a pre-teen little girl the entire road trip. Got his extension, so I guess it makes sense.
Pau is a highly skilled player but those that think he is the MVP of he Lakers don't know dyck about ball.
I guess Amare is the real MVP of the suns ...
Boozer for the Jazz ...
Parker for the Spurs ...
Gasol is very good not sure about great though ...
The last time LA played Phoenix it's like you couldn't even tell he was on the court, regardless of the physical advantages he has over the Phoenix front court. I didn't even think about how he got that extension and then stopped playing like the "toughened up Pau Gasol" we heard so much about last year. Kinda shows why Memphis fans hated him so much.
Right. Because they don't care about stats.
The reason Bryant stays in games so long is because he has to get his numbers. Tonight, that wasn't possible because he couldn't hit a shot to save his life. He was 2-12 and every other starter shot 50% or better.
If your boy is so injured, tell him to sit down and stop shooting.
If Kobe cared about his statistics then we wouldn't be playing with a broken finger and sprained ankle. 5 pt games don't help him win the scoring le.
Being at the game last night, I noticed it lacked any real energy. I think that was due to the return from a long road-trip and the opponent. It was almost like the Bobcats were inside the Lakers' collective psyche and it muddled the game down to a slow crawl. A win as ugly as this is always nice though as I left Staples a happy camper...
Flying over 8,000 miles in 2 weeks & playing 8 straight games in different cities will do that to you..John Ireland said he was tired as from all that traveling alone & he didnt even play..Imagine how the players felt..82 game season takes a huge toll on a players body.
