Been saying this all along, Lakers have faltered against real compe ion this entire season...theyve lost to championship contenders at home and lost on the road to most solid teams (Spurs, Blazers, Grizzlies, Utah, Raptors, etc) as well as those same championship contenders. On their road trip they went 5-3 beating up on cream puffs and on a Celtics team that was 6-11 in their last 17 games, and losing to the three tough teams they faced.
Yet Laker fan swears its just hating on my behalf, that the Lakers are doing just fine and are the best team in the league without question
Its hating cuz your obesessed with the Lakers. Simple as that. Your team is crap and wont do for the next 20 years, but you dont see us Lakers fans making threads about your ty team and the lack of leadership everytime they lose.

Ive started like 3 threads since I joined this site, only one of which was Laker-related...and it was simply to mock lakaluva about a similar thread he made regarding Duncan. And yes Laker fans do indeed make threads to talk about the Spurs all the time, dont act like you guys are victims here.
And how exactly am I hating, when Im just saying what the statistics show? Ive been saying all along that the Lakers were getting overhyped and that theyd been faltering against real compe ion. Their play during the road trip (losing to the tougher teams they faced) and their loss tonight further proves that statement right. But I guess Im an obsessed hater because Im aware of the fact that theyve faltered against the top teams and the fact that up until the road trip they had a disgustlingly home heavy schedule, I guess in order to not be a hater I just gotta blindly follow the notion that the Lakers are this unbeatable force like ESPN tries to portray them. Nevermind the fact that they really arent anywhere close to an unbeatable force or a lock to repeat/reach the Finals.

There shouldn't be any trash talking on this forum. The Lakers aren't a championship caliber team, nor did anyone expect them to be. Nothing personal here, they're just not that good.
