My response is taking your exact argument and applying it to another case where someone's work was being used as propaganda to advance a political movement. This is why you don't understand logic; because you're unable to think abstractly by applying the same argument to a different case.

Or, Darwin championed the "survival of the fittest" and Marx's ideas led to mass deaths at the hands of various states and Marx thought Darwin's evolutionary theories were true so there's gotta be a connection there somewhere.
