Use a card for emergencies, and to reduce the cash you carry. Simply pay it off each month.
I have no issues with my Mastercard.
When I do make a large purchase, I pay a 5 x or more the minimum balance, and at least 1/5th my balance. Those of you paying minimum, or near the minimum are just giving your money away. Don't blame the card companies, it's your stupidity.

I don't know why lefties run away from the word socialist. Lots of people are proud to call themselves socialist. Instead for some reason they think calling themselves "progressive" is better even though that term has been around for more than 100 years and had a terrible connotation when it was widely used. Anyway people on the right just started using the term socialist because communist was a little too specific and narrow in meaning.
