idk what it is, but it seems i'm catching some heat for drinking a smirnoff ice for the first time in my life? i'm a beer guy, and i'd drink any of you under the table. it takes a 12 pack to even get me started buzzing
people assumed you were ginobilly's friend she found out about.
me and ginobilly are a special type of friend alright, but I am not her gay friend. god bless
this is my new favorite troll.
White Russian is my favorite drink though.
Baseline: I just bought a Doghead Fish 60 Minute IPA, is it any good? Should it be extra cold when I drink it?
I made one of those "make your own 6 packs" and I got:
1) DFH 60 Min IPA
2) Brooklyn Brown Ale
3) Rahr & Sons Iron Thistle Scottish Style Ale
4) Hoegaarden Witbier-biere blanche
5) Anchor Porter
6) Pyramid Audacious Apricot Ale
You heard of/tried any of these?
I haven't tried the 60 Minute IPA yet. I was a little disappointed by the 90 Minute IPA after I liked their Palo Santo Marron so much, and definitely prefer the Stone Ruination, Stone IPA, and Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPAs. Not that it was bad by any stretch though, but I was hoping for something as good as Ruination for the price. I really want to try some of Brooklyn's stuff. I never knew Anchor made a porter; I'll have to try that one too.
Out of curiosity, where'd you do the make your own 6-pack?

World market. Kind of expensive though; $1.89 a beer. Not too terrible when you consider what you would pay at a bar.
D'oh, forgot about them. That's pretty awesome you can get the singles there instead of having to buy a bomber or a 6-pack to try something new.
For sure, and the selection is pretty solid. About 60 beers you can choose from and a lot of variety. Kind of expensive for a 6-pack, but like you said you get to try one of many and if you don't like a particular beer you are not stuck with 5 others that you don't want to drink.
Baseline: Just drank these two over the weekend. The Pyramid was very sweet and a bit too much for me. Had a unique taste and if you really like apricots then you might like this beer.
The Hoegaarden was delicious.
Yes. Hoegaarden IS delicious. It's my beer of choice anytime I hit up the Saucer.
The Club currently prefers beer by the slightest of margins (1).
I'm living the High Life right now, damn that Spurs loss..![]()
Yup, I didn't want to spend any money so after that Mavs bukkakage I was forced to grab a 40 of mickeys and chug that . Goodnight spurstalk
I drink beer most of the time. The one time I'm not drinking beer is when I make my jungle juice recipe.
I wouldn't drink any of those "extra cold." 50-55 degrees would be near ideal. As it warms up you should notice a difference in flavor. I'm not a huge fan of the Dogfish IPA's. They are continually hopped, in this case for 60 mins. Kinda muddies it for me. They are a really cool company though.
So the 120 Minute isn't anything special neither?
It's got a of a kick, but the main thing I remember is how sweet it was, and how much sugar had to be added to get the ABV that high. I didn't pay for it though![]()
Dude, I don't know if you're around the NE side, but if so, you gotta check Specs. Right now all their Sierra Nevada 6-packs are $7.26, all their Deschutes 6-packs are $7.25, and lots of others are the same too.
Don't live in SA anymore, but that sounds like a good deal. I have only had a few Sierra's, but can't remember which ones. I am just not a fan of hoppy beers yet. Every once and a while I can deal with it, but just have not been able to consistently enjoy them. I keep trying though. I thought the 60 minute was ok, but like I said, I am not a fan really.
I just have the porters and dark beers left from my 6 pack. I will let you know how they are.
Damn guys, I just opened up a "Rahr & Sons Iron Thistle Scottish Style Ale" and this is delicious.
