Anybody feel that part of the song was lip-synched during the performance? Kinda wierd that they cut to the audience at that moment.
The stage kicked ass. They weren't that bad. Sheesh!

Of all places NOT to smash a guitar? Really Pete?
my kid said "they're more dead than jim morrison".
I thought the show was bad ass although Daltrey's voice was pretty lacking in the beginning.
They still rock harder than bands a third of their age and half of The Who are ing dead - awesome that the crowd got into it as well.
Ya brah, welcome to the movement http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/show...0&postcount=13
I absolutely LOVE The Who, but I didn't care for that show. Didn't like the lip-synching.
You all remind me of what it sounded like at our house.
He couldn't take a chance on throwing his back out.
Yeah, they sucked.
They rocked!!!
So did Jim Morrison.![]()
I am sorry, I like radiohead and all, but if they tried to play at the SB they would be booed off the stage. I have listened to every album the have from track one to the end and can think of 2-3 songs that would be considered mildly appropriate for the venue. As far as NIN, you can make jokes about the fans wanting to kill themselves or hating god, but at least the music is aggressive (dont know if you realize that its not a concert, its a football game). NIN would get the crowd amped up, Radiohead would put THAT particular crowd to sleep, confuse them, or just get booed off stage.
Whiskey hates people talking about how they hate , but he likes nirvana.
I haven't heard a whiny song from Radiohead since The Bends.
Idioteque, Paranoid Android(Cut it down), Airbag and Jigsaw Falling into place(For some of their newer stuff). Be a killer set brah.
I am sorry IM, I like Radiohead, I REALLY like the last four albums of Radiohead (I like where they took their music, deciding to move a little into the electronic genre), but I will be the first to admit that EVERY song from the band is whiny. Don't feel bad about it, Thom can't help the voice that he was born with.
... for a concert. We aren't talking about a concert.
Are you serious?
This is the Super Bowl. The average fan has no idea what those songs are.
Oh, the voice. I thought Whiskey meant the lyrics and what not.
You can't really say every song sounds whiny. What about Fitter Happier
true
I've never heard of them.
See what I mean?
You're more likely to see Bachman Turner Overdrive than Radiohead at the Super Bowl.
The WHO are one of my all time favorite bands, but they shouldn't have come out of retirement for that performance.
Oh and the WHO without Keith are not really the WHO.
Radiohead will be there for SB LXX so that 20 year olds can about them.
