Can't say I care.
Anyone care?
Can't say I care.
Anyone care?
quality trait,wc.
he's a christian
Here's a love letter from the Grey Lady.
Thanks for standing up for our troops in '05. RIP.
RIP
He fought for his country in Vietnam, and he fought for his country again in calling for an end to Iraq.
He was a patriot.
Is this sarcasm?
I don't think so. I hope not.
Even though I disagreed with him staying in congress so long and all his comments, especially what he said about the military - he was human. I pray for his family.
The only disappointing fact about this is he will never be held accountable for all his corruption.
He served his country and I respect his service as a Marine. But he was corrupt and it was time for him to go. I guess God thought so too...
May he rest in peace. And, may the military breathe a little easier without his libelous smears.
Thanks WH, good reference.
So he's a CINO?
Christian in name Only?
An asshole. One who fought for his country.
Lover of pork. So is Shelby.
Complications from Gall Bladder surgery...
Where are the Trial Lawyers?
I'll bet they would be hovering if this was someone poor who they could prey on the families of.
And I would say the same for Shelby that I said for Murtha.
Being dead and being a patriot doesn't make one less of an asshole. But being an asshole doesn't make you less of a patriot, either. In either case, you can respect a man for having been a patriot. And generally, when someone has just died, it is not normally the time when one points out their 'assholeness', as opposed to their patriotism.
But whatever you think is right, man.
Breitbart omitted decorations, NYT bloggy thing omitted the scandals, and wjac.tv mentioned details omitted by the other two.
I doubt any of this much bothers Mr. Murtha anymore, but that is surely no bar to someone else being bothered by it, or by the faces in the crowd.
