Too bad he's also the softest. Thats like being the best lover in the world but you're impotent.

And Pop is probably the worst coach in the NBA right now.
Dont trip son, hes still goin CIA until the playoffs.![]()
Pau is amazing. Was always a top 5 favourite player of mine, sux that he is a Laker now, but i still love his game. And at this point, he's Tim Duncan's equal.
Pau is the Laker's MVP. The game would have been a lot closer if Kobe played and Pau was injured.
Pau might be better than Duncan at this point.
Pau kept telling Blair to get that weak stuff out of here little man.
Except that Blair is the greatest rookie in the history of basketball.
He's still soft as and only plays passable defense do to his length. I still believe that Duncan's a little more skilled than him. But not by alot anymore.
Blair has some of Barkley's traits - rebounding and he uses his strength well when he has the ball in the paint. Blair is nowhere near the athlete Barkley was. Barkley could push the ball from one end of the floor to the other and dunk in your face. Skill wise Barkley could post people up and toy with them in the post, and then he also had a jumpshot.

Give me Duncan, Dirk, or Bosh over Pau any day of the week. Except today, of course.
Pau is better than Bosh.
Top 5 both-way (must be at least good both offensively and defensively) and intangible (set good screens, pass well, move well, good instincts around the rim, etc.) low post players in the NBA?
Gasol
Duncan
Howard
Bogut
Lopez
(honourable mention Nene)
(Bosh doesn't make it because of his average D)
PS Blair will learn. He's a rookie. His fakes and finishing around bigger guys will improve over time.
He has no place to go but up. I like Blair. He will pay dividends at some point.
Funny but overstated ...
Gasol is soft but not the "softest" ...
He is more like being the best lover but a "one minute man" or a "3 incher" he does enough to get you excited but leaves you wanting more ..."that's what she said" LOL
He sure played like a beast last night...if he finally gets into that rhythm that he played with last year, then this may be possible. His passing skills and ability to find the open/cutting man is pretty awesome.
"skilled bigman" he is #2 only behind Duncan
he is definitely more skilled than Bosch, Dwight
Dirk is not a "bigman" he is a 7 foot jump shooter
Either way, Dirk and Pau > Duncan.
could be, due to Duncan's age and wear.
I think Pau is more skilled than Duncan, even Duncan in his prime.
Duncan was/is more dominant. Gasol is more skilled.
Gasol is a better passer, better handle/off the dribble, and I think they have comparable midrange jumpshots. Duncan is a slightly more skilled low post scorer, but I think it's closer there too. Again, Duncan is more a dominant low post scorer, and a big part of that I think is Duncan's toughness and strength. But when it comes to actual skill scoring on the low block, Pau is right there with Duncan.
Pau isd a 7 foot 1 PG..That motha er can run a fast break & dish out passes under his legs like Cp3

Is there any other 7 footers that do this ? hahahah
