Colts greeted by 11 fans at airport

When the Saints make their triumphant return to New Orleans for a victory parade on Tuesday, the crowds are expected to be so enormous that the city will be shut down for everything else.
When the Colts returned to Indianapolis today, they were greeted by a somewhat more subdued crowd.
According to the Indianapolis Star, a grand total of 11 people showed up at Indianapolis International Airport when the team returned this afternoon.
The 11 die-hard fans weren't allowed to get close to the players; they were held behind a security fence hundreds of feet away.
Laugh all you want, but the team didn't want attention upon arrival.
Personally, I think they still should've been given some sort of celebration, but if that's not what they want, then so be it.
How'd the Giants do this year? Thats right ....
Did anyone welcome them back from after the Vikings thrashing?
So who the is LOL texans anyways? in 2nd biggest behind J.T., if it isn't that in the first place
Dude, dont get all hurt & mad at me!!
My fans didnt do this to my team in my city, calm down bro I didnt write this article, geez!
That goes to show you which of them are bandwagon fans and who are die hard fans. I feel for those 11 people, congratulating Colts players for the great season and great run they had in the playoffs.
I knew Manning would take a whole bunch of criticism if he lost in the Superbowl, but the fact is he still got there with a non existent running game a rookie WR and a 2nd year WR.
Peyton will get all of the blame for losing but aside from his INT late in the game he didn't play bad at all. It is not his fault that Garcon and the other WR's were dropping easy catches, and Hank Baskett not being able to recover an onside kick when the ball was in his hands.
Football like other sports is a game of momentum, and with that onside kick the momentum switched over to the Saints. If Baskett holds onto that ball the Colts have the ball on the Saints 40 with a 10-6 lead.
Oh well it doesn't matter because playing the "what if" game is pointless, but to blame Manning for the loss is asinine.
WTF do they diserve a celebration for?
thats right es
