Why is it always a class war for you? Why is someone responsible for the financial outcome of others? You say millionaire to be extreme but what about the middle class who also have to pay for other's tax?
Everyone is paying the land tax. If someone pays rent, the tax is included.
Do you think it is right that someone who bought their land should have to pay for that land year end year out? If they don't then they can lose their land. How is it private property if that is the case?

couldn't agree with you more, although i'll probably go farouk in the primaries. Gov in texas is such a meaningless post. i would rather have the dems have a shot at that senate seat in a special election. A moderate dem, pro-business dem like Van de Putte or Hardberger could get it easily especially if a repug primary caters to the wing-nutty side of the party.

Well you're going to be upset over the way Glenn Beck detroyed her this morning in her interview with him.
Note to Debra: The answer to "Are you a 9/11 truther?" is "NO!".
It'll be interesting to see how her new fans reconcile this.

She fumbled around trying to come up with an good answer without saying yes or no and ultimately settled on saying she thought there were important questions that haven't been answered. Then he asked her if she would fire anyone involved in her campaign who was a 9/11 truther and she fumbled around again and said it depends on what other skills they have. Then he said thank you very much, ended the interview and went on to totally trash her.

Is Medina even on Perry's radar? Every ad I've seen/heard has been going after KBH. I don't think Perry sees Medina as a threat. Besides, with Perry trying to paint himself as a tea party champion (which he's not, but politics is about perception, not reality) and he probably doesn't want to alienate Medina's voters because he'll want them in his camp come November.

one poll has her only 4 points away from Kay, but all show perry w/a monster lead. don't republicans ever learn anything?
Perry is the ultimate roach. No one likes him, but no one can kill him. He's got the formula for winning elections in Texas figured out. He knows the fire and brimstone conservatives are the ones who get motivated enough to turn out for the republican primaries and he knows that enough moderate republicans and independents will hold their nose and vote for him in the general election because they can't bring themselves to vote for a democrat.
