Bad news for Spurs: Nuggets may be shorthanded
By Jeff McDonald
There is a good chance Denver forward Kenyon Martin, who missed Tuesday's lambasting of Dallas with left knee tendinitis, will sit out tonight's game against the Spurs.
Martin told reporters after shootaround this morning that he is a "game-time decision." Coach George Karl said he didn't think Martin was going to play, especially with only one game remaining until the All-Star break.
Martin was a key factor in Denver's 103-89 victory over the Spurs on Jan. 31, scoring 27 points with 11 rebounds. His potential absence, however, shouldn't be cause for celebration for the Spurs, who haven't exactly taken advantage of wounded opponents this season.
The Spurs have already lost to the Nuggets without Carmelo Anthony, the Lakers without Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum and Portland without Brandon Roy (twice).
The bad news is that Pop will still be sitting on our bench...
Sounds like another opportunity to run out Finley at the PF spot. Wait a minute. We would have done that anyway.

Well on the other hand at least this thug wont be jacking up 20 footers uncontested all night...![]()
will play center in an attempt to kill two birds with one stone. 1.- Play midget ball and 2.- Convince the Suns they will be trading a center for a center.![]()
here you go ray.

We lost. We don't beat teams missing starters.![]()

so instead of losing by 50, the spurs will only lose by 45?
Wishing for Duncan to have a great game..
y'all are all acting like a bunch of 5 year old kids.![]()
Chill out dad,
Sometimes we like to joke around instead of being sergeant spurstalk all the time.
Then where's my allowance?
If I see Finley at PF, I'm going to turn the off. I will not watch that anymore![]()
well, at least carmelo is playing.. right?
they smoked Dallas without him. Whoever gives Billups more than a foot of space at the 3pt line should be traded.
If we would have take advantage of all the shorthanded teams this would have already been a great rodeo trip.
Humanity wins when K-Mart's on the shelf (not so much the Spurs). . .
i didn't know martin didn't play against the mavs.
geez, we suck.
That means another Nuggets player will go for 30
Half the league is freaking injured and we're finally healthy.... and we still suck!
The new battle cry against the Mavs soon will be 4 loses .![]()
