There's plenty of truth to it I think. Sarver and Kerr will get a lot more people to buy into the trade if they manage to dump j-Rich off as well. Trading Amare for Hickson and Z (and then buying Z out) looks like a cost cutting move made by an owner who doesn't care about the fans. They can convince some stupid people that they have plans for 2010 free agency if they dump J-Rich off as well.

When were the Lakers "doubted"?..they've always been hyped and favored since the Gasol trade, when was this "doubt" that the media had about them?..

The Cavs were hyped in ONE season and now they choke when there is hype? LOL..

Everyone here and the media were slobbing all over 27-2 Boston during the early part of last season. The Lakers put a stop to that quite quickly after ending both Boston win streaks. The Lakers won pretty much every statment regular season game last season because all they heard was how soft they were after the NBA finals.

Cleveland was then hyped as the favorites after they finished with the best record. This hype became extremely worse after they swept the Hawks and the Lakers toyed around with Houston. "CAVS/NUGGETS FINALS"

I'm sorry your memory is absolutely ing terrible. Even worse than the Spurs. Don't worry, no one expects a Spurs fan to know what it takes to repeat since Timmy failed at it 4 times.

Now this season, the Lakers could give a about the reg season. They have literally nothing to prove right now. All that matters is the Lakers being healthy. It's working out great as well. The NBA forum and media is back to sucking off the Cavs.

Amare playing 30+ min means less minutes for Varejao

Bull . Varejao can back up both frontcourt positions, he'll still get plenty of minutes. The Cavaliers will go small more w/STAT and Varejao will be in those lineups. He'll get his minutes. And if STAT is putting up 30 and 10 I doubt anyone is going to be worried about Varejao's minutes anyway. BTW, Z will be back in 30 days regardless.

If you want to hear whistling in a graveyard, just go back read all your posts from last year about this time and during the playoffs.

What about Jason Richardson's minutes? It looks like you will have to take him on to get Amare in return. This is where those sign and trades involving Wally World and Lorenzo Wright come into play.

I doubt they take J-Rich and Amare. As it stands, Cle has a 33% chance at getting Amare IMO. Kerr is the king of a bunch of hoopla turning into nothing, Amare probably ends up staying in Phoenix.
