If Amare leaves in the summer and has to sign with a NEW team, he will lose about $20 million, I've heard. Therefore, he wants to be traded, and if he re-signs with THAT team (CLE/MIA) then he gets $20 million or so more with his Bird rights.

B. Amare was detrimental to the team, his lack of D was bad. And no, he didn't think he needed to improve he thought he was doing well.

C. Amare is really detrimental to the team.

But, fans usually don't understand how things work inside a locker room.

A lot of people shat on Robin Lopez and Goran Dragic but look how they bloomed. I happen to know the Suns are good when it comes to scouting its just other issues (see: owner) that stands in their way.

Nash is a bad defender too but Nash is capable of team D, meaning he can successfully move a player towards whoever can keep him at bay.
