Curious if Washington buys out Illgauskas.
Mark Stein on Twitter reporting that Erick Dampier is out a month and they will be vying for Illgauskas after he's bought out...
Drew Gooden the human pinball machine...he just keeps bouncing around all over the place.
I wonder if the Spurs would be interested in Conley to fill in that back up PG spot.
A three way trade with the Spurs sending out their expirings and Ty Thomas and Conley to the Spurs makes some sense. Not sure about talent wise though...
The Bucks taking Salmons for expirings really hurts the Spurs' chances of landing Ty Thomas. Now the Spurs will have to offer a first round pick to have a chance.
why do you say that? I thought TT was such a malcontent that del negro and the team wanted him out.
The legendary 'CIA Pop' meant, as it so often has, that nothing was going to happen.
I can't remember a more exciting trade deadline. Maybe it's because of tech like twitter giving constant updates of rumors.
If the Nuggets don't get Dyess/Big Ben/TT/Gooden/Z, then i will consider it a failure
One of them, not all of them. Just clarifying![]()
It was known a few days ago that the Spurs (or any team, for that matter) would have to offer a 1st round pick. The Spurs chances were helped by the fact that the Bulls appear to be out of the McGrady sweepstakes. Based on everything I've heard, the Spurs should have the most compatible offer, as far as what the Bulls are rumored to be asking for and what's rumored to be available.
Ill give you dice for carmelo anthony if you want

No assurance Drew Gooden takes Clips buyout now with several teams -- Bulls, Bucks, Bobcats -- interested in trading for him, source says.
Wait - who is Drew Gooden playing for now? Good God, has he been moved again?
Maybe we should try to get Gooden... oh, wait, we tried that already...
I'm slowly starting to get the feeling that we aren't gonna make a move from all the other stuff I've been hearing around the league. Unless CIA Pop/Buford have something up their sleeves already.
Yeah, I'm getting a feeling that pieces are moving and falling into place, and we're just not part of anything out there...
memphis and miami being interested in mason is the only thing out there right now. not sure if we could get anything back if we actually decide to grant his wish.
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/cat...-trade-reportsThe Knicks are expected to waive recently acquired Brian Cardinal to make room for the players they expect to receive in the Robinson-to-Boston and McGrady trades, should they go through. Donnie Walsh said afterward he is "hopeful" he will get his deals done tomorrow, but he said he was not getting overly optimistic.
While I doubt it happens now, An RJ trade could be possible if there's a team who made capspace that misses out on it's main targets, decides not to sign someone just to sign someone, and looks to get someone with an expiring contract so they can have another look at free agents in 2011. If RJ still isn't clicking then, and we can find a fast paced team that would want him, Give him to them with 2nd rounders and cash and try to pry a trade exception. A $15 million TE Would have a lot of value. Problem that a 2 might not do it(It took a 1st to get Memphis to take on Steven Hunter and his 3.7m, but RJ isn't a corpse.
Here is our trade, nothing for nothingNot even a rumor tonight at all, just f in great.
emo spurs fan never fails to deliver on trade deadline eve...
