Rockets Will Acquire Kevin Martin

The Rockets have an agreement in principal with the Kings to acquire Kevin Martin, according to Marc Stein.
This trade could expand to a three-way deal with the Knicks, sending McGrady to New York.
A league source indicated that McGrady will wind up in Sacramento or New York by Thursday's deadline.
Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong and Sergio Rodriguez will also come to Houston, while McGrady, Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey will be outgoing, according to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski

noway, Daryl Morey isn't a moronic piece of dip like Donnie Nelson and everyone who has a brain knows Landry is indispensable for Rockets. Trading for Martin ostensibly indicates the Rockets are still hoping to remain as a contender, so there's no reason for them to ship the player who has been their best so far in this season.

Wow. I know he has bad knees but Landry is a beast. Martin is pretty damn good but it's easier to find a guy who can score and do nothing else. Morey must have been desperate to find a go-to scorer not named Ariza.
