bad trade by the rockets there not going to win a championship this year i dont know why morey thinks this team can win one with this team hes a idiot

I am hoping moving Landry is part of the three way deal to pick up Jordan Hill from the Knicks.

So the Rockets go from bending over the Knicks for Jordan Hill and a pair of picks to giving away their best player for Kevin Martin?

That's a massive fall from grace in a matter of hours.

sons this is a great pickup for the Rockets. Martin is just as good as other shooting guards like Kobe Bryant, Joe Johnson, etc.

Martin also has to be thrilled about this as well. Finally getting out of Sacramento and on to a team that can actually make the playoffs.

Sergio Rodrígue pretty much justifies the trade IMHO.

W/e after thinking about this trade for a few minutes

I have decided that it is a great trade. Martin is that legit SG we need. Landry has reached his ceiling; Morey will probably draft a nice PF form this PF loaded draft. 20+ of the first round picks are PF/C's.

We also get Sergio; Morey was pretty high on him (same with every other Spanish guard)

Houston fans were literally licking Morey's balls last night after the Mcgrady to Knicks was a "done deal"

Apparently Sacramento might move T-Mac to New York in a separate deal now..

I trust Morey. He target Landry and made a trade to get him, after all. Losing Landry is a tough pill to swallow, but shooting is so important for the Rockets and Martin can shoot. In the rare occasions that Ariza, or Battier give us anything from the outside, the Rockets win handily. Martin's one of the best scorers in the league, is young and has a reasonable contract. Adelman's offense is designed for Martin, who thrived with him in the past. The downside is that Martin is injury prone and can't play defense very well. 25 ppg scorers who shoot at a high efficiency aren't players to sniff at though. We'll see if this trade expands.

K Mart probably has value as he is, after all he's an incredibly efficient offensive player, and has played under Adelman before. Landry is a good player, and in straight up terms, is probably worth it, as he's also a great offensive player. I do think he replicates a bit of what Thompson does for them(though he's better), but as they're unsure of what position Tyreke will be long term(Probably a ball dominant 2), They'd be trying for a Defensive Centre, but with no good one available at a good price, getting Landry is probably the best possible option for them. It also clears a spot in the front court rotation for Jeffries and Hill to get Minutes(If K Thomas goes to NY), and the Knicks can have their cap space.

It won't be a shock anymore when he's traded for some tier player(s), considering the recentest trade in which they lost Carl Landry.

If the Knicks become the 3rd team then McGrady and Rodriguez would go to NY according to the epsn article.

    Except Landry has All-Star potential.

Damn, T-Mac's massive $23M expiring should have been enough to get a Martin level player, especially in today's economy-conscious NBA. But to throw in Landry, thats a huge coup for the Kings.
