I don't think ATRAIN has any PMs. He is a known liar.
I am still waiting for Atrain to pm me that pic of Melmart.
I don't think ATRAIN has any PMs. He is a known liar.
Has anyone who claimed to have secret PMs ever actually passed them on? Ever??
I don't think it's happened in the history of the interwebs.
The same place your wife and Peewee are. Farmville and cafe world victims.
Oh dang. Those are fighting words.
I got some secret PMs. Say I won't CF
Had to use someone else's ladder and again covered in fiberglass
Covered in fiberglass?!?
yeah dude. I hate working with someone else's ladder. They don't take care of their
They don't take care of their ladders?
I'm not a huge Family Guy fan, but I can't help thinking midge would like this song:
That was pretty amusing. I think they could have made fun of re s a little more though.
They got in trouble just for what's there. Palin got mad, and everything.
Palin is a re herself.
Has anyone else had major issues with a moving company? The company I'm using has moved my date back TWICE and now I have MAYBE 24 hours to pack up my entire life. </rant>
I haven't personally, but I've heard my share of horror stories.
Not looking forward to arranging my move in a few months. I'm anticipating a massive pain in the ass.
They keep saying, "But you don't have that much stuff." At which point I have to re-explain that I don't have a lot of big furniture, and that's a really big difference.
Hopefully your move goes more smoothly than mine. Are you heading out to Savannah?
I've been accepted there, but it's not the top of my list. Still waiting to hear from the other four schools and see who offers the best money.
My move will be... unnecessarily complicated. Hiring movers basically just to move my down a flight of stairs and load the truck. Then driving the truck, my car, and my cat down to central Cali to get the other half of my stuff out of storage (or, if I end up going to New York, put more stuff in storage). Then driving the truck, my car, and my cat across country and hiring movers to unload. Probably don't need to hire movers for any of that, but I've moved too many times in my life and am thoroughly over lifting heavy things.
I have always been thankful that my cat does car rides okay. We're driving cross country together again next week for the 4th time in two years.
Congrats on the SCAD acceptance, though! I might be going after a masters in art history in the next few years. The thought of going back to school again is meh, but if I want to go into image cataloging I'm going to have to.
The only reason SCAD's not higher on my list is that I want to do both my MA and MLS at the same time, rather than back to back. That's enough to put Bloomington and Pratt at the top, since they've both got dual degree options.
Understandable. Had I known from the get-go that I was going to need two masters (this stupid field is brutal) I probably would have tried to do them both at once. I didn't get into wanting to do cataloging until after I'd done it this last summer, though. Are you wanting to stay in libraries or go the museum route with your MA?
Museum, ideally, but art librarian is a position that usually only large ins utions have room for and is, therefore, ridiculously compe ive. The combination of degrees should hopefully make me pretty hirable, though, even if it's not for my dream job.
Okay, that's too damn many consecutive posts by librarians.
So then I can send you secret PMs now without fear of exposure.
Uh, so to speak.
