I admire the Rockets FO, they consistently make good moves, what other team could lose their 2 best players to injury and still be looking as good as ever.
with Hill and Martin and those picks, this team is DEEP and young and will be a borderline contender for a long time
I can see now why they were so willing to get rid of Landry when they're in good position to land Bosh or Amare this summer. A foundation of Yao/Bosh or Amare/Martin is pretty damn good. Bosh would be preferable bc of Martin and Amare's injury history. Most scouts say Amare's game lends itself to wear and tear on the knees and he'll need work done again at some point.

Yea, i was critical of the Rockets first trade, thinking they gave T-Mac + Landry for Martin... but to get Hill and another first, i think thats a very good trade.
You know this trade might not make us contenders but you cant help but be very excited about what Morey has been able to do in such a short amount of time. When you look at the 05/06 roster and compare it to todays, it really makes you smile.

New York will get somebody. Even if it's a Joe Johnson they're still better than top 5 pick bad.

Why do you seem so butthurt about this trade or the Rockets in general? Did they kill your father, or rape your mother or something? Yes, this trade is a gamble and could end up being bad for Houston, but the risk is well worth it. I'm sure you'd be in the minority if you disagree. Morey has done a good job with what he has been given since he came on board.
