Manu es mejor que Dirk y Durant.
I know you're a troll but you seem to be arguing seriously so I'll answer you accordingly.
Euroleague+MVP, Olympics+MVP, three NBA championships, a lot of other indivual and team awards > NBA regular season MVP, western conference championship, a lot other of individual awards.
You may not think much about the international ball but it plays a big part in the HoF votes.
Manu es mejor que Dirk y Durant.
all this trophies combined are still easily overwhelmed by the trophy of NBA regular season MVP IMHO, which Dirk has earned once while Manu has never.
For the HoF voters it doesn't.
Dirk joined NBA so early that he didn't play as many years in Europe as Manu did, hence consequently Manu has won slightly more honors from that continent than Dirk has, like Euro league MVP etc... Dirk would also have won one or multiple olympic golds with equal quality of supporting pieces as Manu's on Argentinian team, but the fact is Dirk's German teammates are only a bunch of sorry s at their finest, not even comparable to the Argentinian squad which is always stacked even without Manu.
Kevin Durant. Not even a question. I like my men dark and skinny.
Manu > Dirk.
3 rings > 0 rings
Olympic gold medal > no medal
Look at Manu's per minute stats!!!! If god damn CIA Pop started him and used him more he'd put up good numbers!
4 rings, got
I'll take Durant due to versatility.
That argument can work the other way around too, if Manu would have made it to the NBA at the age that Dirk made it he wouldn't have wasted two years of his prime adapting to the NBA and if he wouldn't have landed in such a talented team his individual stats would have been much better and the NBA fans wouldn't think of him as just a great role player.
Swap Manu with Dirk and I don't think Argentina would have won the Olympics but those are just personal opinions, all that matters to the HoF criteria is that Manu won it and Dirk didn't.... Dirk would also have won one or multiple olympic golds with equal quality of supporting pieces as Manu's on Argentinian team, but the fact is Dirk's German teammates are only a bunch of sorry s at their finest, not even comparable to the Argentinian squad which is always stacked even without Manu.
Besides Dirk's teammates aren't scrubs: Kaman, Bradley, Femerling, Okulaja, etc.
I'm one of the few Spursfans that think that Manu > Dirk.
Yes, they would have. It isn't that hard to do, in fact in many international tournaments you may not qualify and still get in by invitation.
We know. You're argie. You're basically the mirror version of Bukafel - you know, the guy who thinks parker is a top 10 player. You know you're a biased nationalist dip ship when even other spur fans think you suck. lol manu>dirk.
That should tell you something.
I sense the frustration of not beign able to refute my "Manu/Dirk/HoF argument" in you.
kill yourself.
I agree 100%. Manu will get into the Hall Of Fame before Dirk. Only because Manu's fragile ass will be retiring years before Dirk.
Both will get in. But if the voters could only put one of those two in the Hall of Fame, 90% of the votes would go to Dirk.
Congratz to Manu on his B-league achievements brah.....
Congrats indeed, they would help him to be a first ballot Hall of famer.
Disagreed, we'll have to wait and see.
He doesn't belong in the HOF, son. I guess congratz to him for all those B-league awards in the minor league, but honestly, he's not in the same league as the big boys, even ringless ones, like Dirk/Nash.
