This team can beat any team. They can also lose to any team.

Obvious statement, but at least I can go into each game knowing that the Spurs are capable of winning.

I'm getting frustrated but im frustrated because I love them so much and it hurts to see them struggle when I know that this same team is capable of so much better.

Most of our losses are the same, losing leads, turning over the ball, and stale offense as the game gets tight.. IT'S ON POP!!!!!!!! He coaches like a bitter old man, who doesn't give a anymore.

I keep seeing flashes of brilliance--even whole quarters when the Spurs look like the best team there is.
Some of the problems aren't all that bad.
When Bonner and Mason get their 3-pt groove back, RJ can suck all he wants.
It only takes one of them a night to swing a game into the WIN column.
Blair and Hill are amazing most of the time, which is great for our future as well as right now.
    McDyess is waking up.
The big 3 are crafty vets who will deliver when we need them.
Pop is smarter than we are. He'll get it together.

I just got back from the rodeo, and spent several hours staring at the championship banners hanging from the roof of the ATT Center.
    They inspired me.
    I still believe

I wish I could sign.... but this is the end.

This is what it looks like. I never really thought about how the end would come. I just knew that Tim would retire in a few years and hopefully we'd be winning our final two or so championships. Hopefully being the keyword. But instead we are seeing the San Antonio Spurs on its last few miles before changing the tires.

Lets just hope it doesn't take too long before the right tires are found.

I know I'll still be a fan. That's what its all about. Prepare to see the Spurs fanbase dwindle down in the coming years but that's alright. The true fans will shine and we'll still be here supporting them til the very end.

I got back from the rodeo as well...and for a brief moment thought those would be our last banners for a while...only a brief moment later I realized we still have our big three AND one of the greatest coaches to ever live.

After yet another disappointing loss, I feel the same. Sometimes I think they can get it together, but it seems they've lost their edge. I'll always support them as well.

I do too, but look at the FO and coaching and the no trade to get better. They must be tanking. This sux, but Pop has really lost it. Remember back in the day when we had Brad Lohaus? What was that all about or when they went and resigned "Greg Cadillac" Anderson in the mid to late 90's. It's looking like those days are here again.

this Philly game confirmed for me that its over. Watching the TNT doubleheader last night, there's no way in the Spurs can compete with those teams. They have much more heart and their coaches use common sense.

Tim looks to be tired. TP is hurt. Manu seems to be getting better but it's not enough. And Pop is a stupid .

    It's over.

But now, being the first game after the failed trade deadline, a loss tonight would be the exclamation point to drive it home

I believe the F.O. is serioulsly considering to clean it all after this fail...
    And deservedly so.
The main point is that our best player is tired as ...Tony Parker must realize he has not the body to sustain 82 regular season games, the play offs games and every night with Eva Longoria and then don't rest in summer.
You have to give up on something...

I think I'd give up playing for Team USA long before I gave up banging my wife Eva Longoria every night.

i don't believe in this team. not because they're not talented enough. it's that they don't have the character and personality that is needed to win a championship. a bunch of really talented guys out there that break and fall apart when the going gets tough in a game. they simply collapse and go into a fetal position. Bruce used to be the guy that lit a fire under everyone's ass, and they sorely miss him, or a guy like him. Manu, Tim, and TP have have either neglected that role or can't play it. no one on this team is a floor leader. they'll continue to fall short of expectations.

honestly, i say sign Bruce Bowen. he was still great last year defensively. he completely shut down Terry and he did the same to Mellow earlier on in the season. he's our only hope, and e won't have the wear and tear of an 82 season either.
