A disastrous start with a catastrophic small lineup, somehow reversed to restore parity. I am beginning to think that Coach Pop is losing his marbles by going for these stupid lineups. What a fall for a legend.

so we're going to have to wait 6 minutes before ever getting into a lineup that HELPS US WIN GAMES.
We've started the last 3 games going right into a deficit, why is Pop over-thinking everything this season.
We'll probably see mostly an 8 man rotation today, with spot minutes in the 2nd quarter for Finley/Bonner. Unless they're hot from three immediately, they'll (as always) be a detriment in every other area of the game, so if they're bricking, don't expect to see either the rest of the way.
Pop should give Hairston/Mahinmi those minutes, at least the energy/athleticism quotient would be at something resembling an NBA level.

Quick Question - Has anyone in the press corps asked Pop about these small ball ideas? And did he ever give a sensible response beyond brushing the question?
Not that I have ever seen. Pop would just give them the Silent stare anyway.
