I think the meltdown happened when the FO raised the white flag on the season...most people will just expect losses from here on out.
I hope I'm wrong tonight or a meltdown might ensue.
I know I'd be pissed.
I think the meltdown happened when the FO raised the white flag on the season...most people will just expect losses from here on out.
But now, being the first game after the failed trade deadline, a loss tonight would be the exclamation point to drive it home
Well, Ian is going in so this one looks all but over. In all honesty, they competed a lot better than I thought they would after the last game. But they just couldn't sustain the effort for the full 48 against this younger, more athletic 76ers squad.
Still going skrong.
Must be all those heavy minutes they've been playing.
Hopefully Dex guessed everything correctly and we finish with a win in Detroit.
I think we're the only ones left, Dex.

Nice calls on the Denver and Philadelphia games.
So far, everything's played out more or less how I thought, except the Pacers game. I thought they would blow them out.
Yup guys, was kind of out for the last couple days, so updating this now... Only two people remaining, Dex and tp2021, and both have the same prediction, so if we win against Detroit, they both win (share sigspace) and if we lose, all of spurstalk was wrong![]()
Spurs can't even get being mediocre right.
I'll never be this close to anything Spur-worthy ever again

Well I was right about the 4-4. I just missed the Denver and Detroit games.
When was the last rodeo trip we went .500? If any...
all this build up for nothing! if i won i was going to but richard jefferson aka in form of a penis kinda like the coneheads
.... lol we're all glad that didn't happen then![]()
4-4:
Feb 3rd @ Sacramento: W
Feb 4th @ Portland: L
Feb 6th @ LA Clippers: W
Feb 8th @ LA Lakers: L
Feb 11th @ Denver: L
Feb 17th @ Indiana: W
Feb 19th @ Philadelphia: L
Feb 21th @ Detroit: W
We can't hang with top teams on back-to-backs, we will lose to the Lakers with Pau, Denver with Melo, and Philly with all their long swingmen.

Sad, sad sad. We still went 4-4 but lost to lowly Detroit because we had no more gas left in the tank.
Well, I believe I had predicted it correctly up until the last 2 games. I thought we'd lose to the Lakers and to Portland, and that we'd beat Denver, which we did.
Which means I predicted 8-2 and instead we wound up -- what? 6-4? But the last two losses were the result of TP's injury. We should have won them anyway, but Spurs historically have a hard time adjusting to injuries until the next game.
